Mumbles is thought to be named after this pair of rocks which French sailors thought resembled breasts, hence naming the town, 'Mamelles', French for 'breasts', which over time may have morphed into ‘Mumbles’.
The image is a ten second exposure taken from the end of Mumbles pier.
